Horror Movies 2022

The Scream – January 14

The famous “Scream” franchise returns in the fifth film, simply titled “Scream”. The directors were Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The plot of the film unfolds 25 years after the original story of the first film. The “Ghostface” returns to the film, the character hides under a mask and now terrifies the residents of Woodsboro. The killer is targeting a new group of teenagers whose deadly secrets haunt him.

 

Texas Chainsaw Massacre – February 18

The story of the film draws inspiration from the original 1974 story of the slasher of the same name. The film follows innocent Melody (Sarah Yarkon), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and friends named Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell Hudson) travel with them, their final destination is in the Texas small town of Harlow.

 

Morbius – April 1

One of the most anticipated vampire horror films is coming out in April 2022 under the name Mobius. The tragic story of a scientist named Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) suffers from a rare blood disease. In search of a cure, he tries a dangerous treatment based on bats. What could go wrong with bats and men… As a result, Morbius becomes a vampire, having received unreal superpowers, without side effects inherent in bloodsuckers in human form.

 

Black Phone – June 24

“Black Phone” is a supernatural horror film based on a 2004 story by Joe Hill and brought to life by director Scott Derrickson and Robert Cargill. “Black Phone” takes viewers to 1970s Colorado, where five children go missing in a suburban town. The main character becomes a thirteen-year-old teenager who was kidnapped by a maniac and locked in a tightly closed basement.
