More on Twisted Dreams
Twisted Dreams is a creation of Leif Swenson and has been in operation for 20+ years.
While there’s only minor hints of a narrative within, Twisted Dreams Haunt focuses on The Great Sierra Western, a train operated by a murderous cult that glorifies the dismemberment, skinning, and utter mutilation of anyone it comes across. Lamps are covered in skin and viscera, entire skinned bodies are nailed to the wall, and blood-drained corpses are hung upside-down as evidence of the cult’s brutality. The scenes are impressively designed and feel gritty and gross—in the best way possible.
The walkthrough is linear with actors focusing on scares over narrative—this is not a haunt that you’ll pause and talk to actors, engaging in their story. But regardless, there are a few moments of deviation from the linear pathway. A chainsaw-wielding, hog-masked beast of a man barrels out of a shed right after you pass—leading you to a shut door that often has guests unable to figure out how to open it.
Expect to be running out of this haunt—screaming in fear and in awe of the impressive nature of Twisted Dreams Haunt.
