More on Common Ground Cemetery
Common Ground Cemetery has been haunting the Antelope Valley for over twenty years, and has since developed a wide variety of recognizable characters who return each year for a scare. Some of the most noteworthy characters to keep an eye out for are: Sixpence the Laughing Clown and his Japes of Auldville, the Necrotic man and his undead minions, Trigger Dave the grave digger, and Doctor Eccentricycle and his morbid experiments. The haunt begins at the entrance of Eudora Smith’s Mortuary where Mr. McAbre leads guests deeper and deeper into the twisted events that transpire in the cemetery, but you do not want to be left behind, or you will be joining the many other spirits who were never able to find their way out.
When Common Ground Cemetery first opened, it was simply composed of a candy bowl, a small fog machine, a mask, and a glow in the dark rubber snake; now, their haunt spans multiple houses and draws crowds of over twelve hundred guests in one night. The owners of the haunt continue to grow and expand this tradition each year, hoping to one day have a professional, year-round experience. Nonetheless, they plan to continually offer their free home haunt to the community, simply out of their love for Halloween.
