The Dark Corner platform has consistently ranked as one of the top downloaded apps within the Oculus Store for Samsung Gear VR, and is also available for Google Daydream, Oculus Rift, iOS, and Android.”

Dark Corner Mule

A thrilling, mind-bending POV ride through the last moments of a man’s life, “Mule” premiered at Fantastic Fest 2016 with its now-infamous “white coffin” installation. Since then has become a staple on the film festival circuit over the past year, screening at Venice, Sitges, AFI Fest, Overlook, Cinequest, Beyond Fest, BiFan, and many more.

“For a while it looked as though the extreme graphic nature of Mule might prevent it from ever being seen by wider audiences — but now, at last, Dark Corner is pleased to announce it will release an updated version of the film which, in the words of director Guy Shelmerdine, “preserves 90% of the fucked up stuff you loved from the original. The visual effects and 360º elements in Mule were crafted by the multi-award winning team at The Mill, Los Angeles. The sound design and score were created by Dražen Bošnjak with Q Department, using Mach 1™ proprietary spatial sound software.”

Dark Corner Deerbrook

This slow-burn suspense thriller sees two strangers played by Zoie Palmer (Lost Girl, Devil) and Ari Millen (Orphan Black) show up at a remote cottage claiming to have spent their childhood summers there. However, their behavior seems to be driven by something more sinister than nostalgia…

“With razor-tense writing from Grayson Moore & Aidan Shipley (Cardinals) and haunting performances from Palmer, Millen, Christine Horne (The Captive) and Nicholas Campbell (Black Mirror, Naked Lunch), “Deerbrook” is a nail-biting exercise in suspense that uses the 360º space in ways that simply are not possible in traditional cinema. It was a world premiere at AFI Fest 2017, and was produced by Cameron MacLaren in association with Combo Bravo’s Jon Riera and Connor Illsley.”

Dark Corner Spacewalker

Created in conjuction with the blockbuster Russian film of the same name, from legendary producer Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Night Watch, Hardcore Henry), Spacewalker tells the harrowing true story of Alexey Leonov, who in 1965 became the first human to ever perform a tethered solo space walk— a mission which nearly ended in disaster.

“”Spacewalker” is a stunning 5-minute VR experience that lets viewers experience the awe and terror of stepping through an air lock and out into the void of space… The VR experience was directed and produced by Alexander Gorokhov, with jaw-dropping visual effects from CGF VR.”
