The Sideshow Invites Guests to Indulge in a 1930's Immersive Circus

You hear the call of the concessions barker under the expansive, billowing tent. The aroma of peanuts and sweet cotton candy permeates the air. A lion roars and an elephant trumpets as the commanding ringmaster cracks his whip. Fearless performers fly through the air to the nervous awe and cheers of the audience. CoAct Productions, a collaborative of artists and designers, aims to present narrative as an embodied experience in their debut immersive theater production, The Sideshow. Ten audience members will be mysteriously transported to a vintage 1930s circus where they will relive the evocative memories of an early circus performer. During their journey, audiences will encounter historical influences of the era as they inhabit a multi-sensory environment and interact with the characters. Coupled with an elegant dessert and wine pairing, The Sideshow will have participants indulging themselves in its dream-like atmosphere as they uncover what temptations loom beneath the veil of the Big Top.

To fund this whimsical, hour-long experience, CoAct Productions has launched a Kickstarter campaign and needs our help.
