Aitiascope Dungeon Guide to Final Fantasy 14

To get the opportunity to get the best epic and legendary armor and weapons, the player must go to dungeons and raids.

These are battles with bosses of increased difficulty, where in addition to the reward, an interesting battle awaits you, which will require you to be attentive, teamwork with the group and high damage and defense.

Aitiascope is a dungeon for high-level characters, which means that in order to increase the chances of passing, you need to have at your disposal equipment with good protection and weapons with high damage. Usually 80+ dungeons require at least 540 power level gear strength.

You can get equipment of this power level in several ways:

  1. Farm gils in story and side quests, sell all unnecessary materials and invest gils in equipment.
  2. Master the profession of crafting and develop it with the help of a gathering profession of the same focus. You will be able to make yourself suitable armor and weapons, or you will fulfill the orders of other players and buy equipment for the earned gils.
  3. Contact the Skycoach service for the service of selling gils in the required amount. Professional players will provide an order with a guarantee of anonymity and disguise the transaction as a regular trade, so that the gaming administration does not even have a formal reason to impose gaming sanctions.

How to access the Aitiascope dungeon in Endgame 14

You need to upgrade your character to level 89 and have equipment of at least 540 power level. You need to go to the Elpis location and have Her Children, One and All on your list of tasks.

The main mechanics of the Aitiascope dungeon in FF 14

Inside the dungeon, as always, in Final Fantasy 14 you will meet with three bosses

Libya

The boss uses his glowing limbs to deal cone AoE damage. Such attacks are especially vulnerable to tanks and attacking melee characters.

Aglaea Shot – AoE cross damage that will deal damage twice if players fail to dodge the skill during cast and trajectory back to the boss.

In the later stages, the boss will use two skills at the same time, so don’t stand in front of him and keep an eye on the skill as it returns to its owner.

Rhitahtyn

The boss will first create walls on the sides of your squad, and then begin to deal heavy damage in the center. Your group should move towards the walls and occupy the empty niches in them to avoid taking a lot of AoE damage.

Tartarean Spark – a skill with which the boss conducts a massive shelling of the territory. Track the flight paths and get into places where the boss’s main skill does not hit.

Avoid direct damage while casting Tartarean Spark and look for a safe zone.

Amon

The boss will use many variations of AoE attacks, and then combine them with each other.

Thundaga – a set of AoE attacks with a cone trajectory, especially dangerous for tanks and melee characters, who may not have time to react to them.

Left/Right Firaga – The boss will randomly select a hand to deal the next blow from the corresponding side. This type of attack is dangerous for ranged characters and healers. Try to stay close to the tank.

Eurption – the boss creates AoE zones from which you need to quickly get out so as not to receive massive damage.

Curtain Call – an ice crystal will be summoned, behind which you need to quickly hide, otherwise you will receive heavy damage.

Recommendations for passing the Aitiascope dungeon

Attacking characters should constantly use AoE skills to reduce the pressure on the tank and healer from minions fighting on the side of the bosses.

The characters should be distributed so that each player deals damage from their own direction and point, but is within the range of the healer’s and tank’s skills.

Bosses will use skills that will cause heavy damage to the tank – the healer should always have a strong and fast healing skill ready, and the tank should have a health restoration potion.

The healer should constantly heal his allies with a mass skill – this is necessary in case one of the players misses an AoE attack and loses some of his health, and if there are several such players, then the healer will be able to even out the situation and restore health to each player individually at high speed.

Use all personal defensive skills to maintain your health level and reduce the burden on the healer.

Don’t stand still and catch all the AoE attacks relying on the healer – maneuver between attacks and don’t stop hitting the bosses.

The tank should taunt enemies so that they stand with their backs to the main group and the characters can deal more damage and have more time to react in case the boss changes targets.

Try to fight in the very center of the dungeon in order to have even opportunities to both increase the distance with the boss and reduce it. Most of the skills will be applied massively, all over the map, and players will have more opportunities and room to dodge, without stopping to deal damage to the target.

If the raid is successful, the group will be able to get equipment from the Etheirys set with a power level of 548. You need level 89 to be able to equip it.
